Solar companies come together to fight the utilities refusal to adhere to current net-metering statutes.  The public utility is currently in the process of refuting the previously established number of solar systems allowed in a region, arguing that the number of systems should be limited to only five percent of the sum of peak demand.  Changes to the current legislature's directives threaten to undermine California's aggressive renewable energy goals.
