Commercial - San Diego State University Children's Center

This 28,000 Watt solar electric system is a dual-purpose structure, also serving as a shaded carport for the parking lot just outside the child care and preschool facility.

"It's an amazing educational opportunity for our future generations to see the solar photovoltaic system producing energy each day, knowing the project will provide approximately 35 percent of the annual electricity for the Children's Center," said Tara Kelly, Associated Students Sustainability Commissioner.
