Doerr Residence

Mr. Doerr is a Union Electrician who took advantage of significant rebates available through the Rebuild a Greener San Diego Program after his home suffered fire damage in the Wildfires of '03. Being as his house had a small roof area and the area directly adjacent to his home was shrouded in trees, Sullivan Solar Power installed his system on a rugged rocky hillside 500 feet from his home. To mount the support structure a core driller was used to bore holes into the boulders underneath it. A competitor shied away from the project given the difficulty of delivery. The system serves as yet another testimony to Sullivan's ability to deliver on a project regardless of difficulty.
