San Diego Solar Power: Diggins Residence
The Diggins family is generatingľover 2,700 watts of energy from the roof mounted solar power system. The design consists of two arrays, each with 10 solar panels, that feed into a single inverter. The Diggins household now saves money each month on utility bills while helping keep San Diego beautiful, since the home is less reliant on grid energy from dirty fossil fuels!
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
Generate 4,166 to 5,554 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
Avoid the creation of 6,887 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
Provide the system owner with $1,222 in Solar Power Savings.
