In the late summer of 2013, Sullivan Solar Power, began an initiative to provide Rancho Santa Margarita residents with solar power through a program that will allow customers who sign up, a $2,000 return. The response to this solar program has admitted up to 92,000 watts of solar power scheduled to be installed. The end date for those wanting to take part in this plan is November 15th and the interest thus far proves that there could be an added 50,000 watts of energy.

"Rancho Santa Margarita is the perfect area to adopt solar technology, with an abundance of sunshine and high electricity rates year-round. Our company is transforming the area into a strong solar community with the Rancho Santa Margarita Solar Program, allowing residents to declare energy independence - and paying you to do it." - Daniel Sullivan, founder and president of Sullivan Solar Power
