Sullivan Solar Power announced the closure and success of the popular Yorba Linda Solar Program on Friday, which yielded the largest collective deployment of residential solar in the city's history! Dustin Urquhart, director of Orange County operations, said "The vision is to lead a solar energy revolution where we shift our dependence from foreign fossil fuels to renewable resources," allowing homeowners like Kelley Mathis to join the Solar Energy Revolution.
"I decided to go solar because of the increasing cost of electricity, and I didn't think that trend would reverse in the future," said Mathis.
The program is projected to save 442,733 pounds of carbon emissions per year, across 32 property owners, with a combined total of 180,957 watts of solar power installed, resulting in $65,000 in cash back payments.
