The National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) San Diego is a long standing force in the electrical construction industry. Established in San Diego in 1942, the organization dedicates its time and resources to education, advocacy, and labor relations in the electrical industry. They currently represent more than one hundred electrical contractors in the area and provide valuable knowledge wherever is needed. In addition to hosting seminars and classes, they advocate for legislation and policy at Capitol Hill and will provide lunch and learns at your company to teach the latest updates in the industry.

NECA has continued to advocate for solar jobs and oppose increased tariffs for the industry at the national level. They recognize the economic and employment benefits that clean energy jobs can bring to our communities. Sullivan Solar Power is beyond grateful for the support and influential power that organizations like these can bring to the table. The solar industry wouldn’t be where it is today without the collaboration of key industry partners.

In an effort to give back, Sullivan Solar Power chose to support NECA in its first Annual Pet Food Drive for the holidays. They called for any and all food, toys or supplies to donate to the local rescues in the area such as Hope2K9 Rescue, The Rescued Dog, PAWS San Diego, Amparo Foundation and the Rancho Coastal Humane Society. Sullivan Solar Power employees attended NECA’s open house holiday celebration on Dec. 12 to deliver all of the donations and celebrate the giving season.
