Daniel Sullivan, current CEO of Sullivan Solar Power, founded the company in May of 2004. Previously, he served as an instructor for photovoltaic design and installation at the San Diego Electrical Training Center and as a Journeyman Electrician at Dynalectric. Under Daniel’s guidance the Company has installed more than 5,000 solar power systems on homes, businesses and large institutional buildings across San Diego, Orange and Riverside counties. Daniel believes there is a better future through solar power and has dedicated his life to making that future a reality.
Daniel ensures that the Company’s core values and its foundation for success remain alive. During recruiting each applicant is reviewed based on their individual alignment to the Company’s values and purpose. Daniel believes that skillsets can be taught, but a character that matches the company cannot.

Quinn Laudenslager is the current Executive Vice President of Sullivan Solar Power. Prior to joining Sullivan Solar Power Quinn worked at Baker Electric as a Solar Project Development Engineer and was later promoted to Group Manager – Commercial Solar. Quinn completed a five-year International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) electrical apprenticeship program with an emphasis in renewable energy, specifically solar. Quinn is passionate about changing the way our world generates electricity and believes having a sustainable future for his family and future generations is paramount.
Quinn is known to lead his team with logic, facts and understanding. He strives to motivate others; inspire those he works with to achieve their highest levels of performance. Through an unwavering clarity of mind in the face of challenges, Quinn is able to calmly and collectedly lead his team through any challenge.
Bill Ness is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Sullivan Solar Power. Before joining Sullivan Solar Power, Bill was Senior Vice President of Admissions at Bridgepoint Education, Vice President of Operations at EADS, and President - Chief Operating Officer - Vice President of Sales at Road Runner Sports. Bill has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He strives to create, build, and lead strategies to manage the customer experience.
Bill Ness works tirelessly to enhance the customer experience and keep the Company on the cutting edge of the industry. He seeks and embraces the ideas of the team and encourages personal growth and development. He mentors and challenges simultaneously, allowing each member of the organization to reach greater heights.

Sandra Brown is the Director of Accounting at Sullivan Solar Power. Prior to working at Sullivan Solar Power she worked as the Controller of Prestige Concrete and the Controller at Peterbuilt Corporation. Sandra believes in training staff for various facets of an organization in order to create a more cohesive environment.
Sandra brings to Sullivan Solar Power over 22 years of experience in accounting. Sandra’s accomplishments at Sullivan Solar Power have led her to be the recipient of the Company’s “Glue” award for several consecutive years. She continues to hold the Company tightly together, accurately forecasting and running data analyses and reports that the organization needs in order to make important decisions.

Parag Mody is the Director of Human Resources at Sullivan Solar Power. Prior to joining the company, he worked as the Vice President of Finance & Human Resources at Cali Bamboo and as the Vice President Finance & Human Resources at GBS Linens. Parag holds his MBA from Pepperdine University and his certificate in Strategic HR Leadership from Cornell University. Parag believes it is important that everyone takes part in generating ideas and helping build the future. It's that engagement in a common purpose that makes a company what it is.
Parag enables each team member in the Human Resources Department to successfully perform their duties by ensuring they have the proper tools and resources to accomplish those tasks. With continual feedback, and trust placed in the skillset of each team member, Parag believes a strong team can thrive.
Peter Chiang is the Superintendent of the Electrical team at Sullivan Solar Power. Peter began his career working with Sullivan Solar Power as a Union Construction Wireman back during the Company’s inception. Pete is certified as a General Journeyman and is responsible for an electrical team encompassing as many as 70 electricians. Peter continually works with his electricians to help train and develop their skillsets further.
With over 10 years of his career spent at Sullivan Solar Power Peter has accumulated a wealth of knowledge on both the Company and the solar industry. This invaluable knowledge allows him to serve as a strong leader to his electricians. Peter is a source of answers, direction and guidance. He is able to see the bigger picture, while also providing guidance at the individual level.

Kevin Mulvey is the Director of Project Management at Sullivan Solar Power. His early career includes serving as the General Manager of Merry-Go-Round Toys and as the Freight Broker of Exel Transportation Services. Kevin holds his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Roger Williams University, has his certification as a Project Management Professional, and is a NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professional. Kevin is striving to build one of the strongest project management teams the photovoltaic industry has ever seen.
Kevin’s commitment to the solar industry reaches beyond Sullivan Solar Power. Kevin has worked tirelessly with local authorities having jurisdiction in San Diego to streamline permitting and inspections for solar systems. Through working closely with the City of San Diego Kevin has seen their internal processes change which in turn has helped grow the solar industry throughout the region.
Tara Kelly is the Director of Community Development at Sullivan Solar Power. Her past work experience includes serving as the CEO of Enviro-Business Society and as the Sustainability Commissioner at San Diego State University. Tara holds her bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Media Studies. She is also a NABCEP Certified Technical Sales Professional. Tara grew up in Santa Cruz, California and was always environmentally conscious. She felt joining Sullivan Solar Power aligned with her values and allowed her to make a difference.
Tara makes it her top priority to build close relationships with everyone on her team. Her open-door approach means that everyone is comfortable bringing their questions or concerns straight to her. She goes out of her way to make time for her team and be a true leader, rather than just a boss.
Our project developers meet the highest standards for education and experience in the solar
industry. The project developer is the primary point of contact who can answer questions and
address any concerns customers might have during the planning and installation process.
Our project developers must take and pass a rigorous exam administered by the North American
Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). They also must receive the NABCEP Solar PV
Technical Sales certification, which requires that an individual “have experience in the
field selling photovoltaic systems, a specified level of training and an OSHA 10-hour
construction industry card (or equivalent).”
Lastly, our project developers must obtain a Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) license, which allows someone employed by a licensed contractor to sell or execute contracts for home improvements or services installed.
Project Managers at Sullivan Solar Power help guide solar power projects from concept to
design, construction and installation. They are a key part of helping make sure our solar
power system installations go smoothly and come in on time and on budget.
Our project managers are required to receive the North American Board of
Certified Energy Practitioners’ (NABCEP) Associate Program certification and the NABCEP
Solar PV Installer certification. These certificated ensure that our people are the most
experience, educated and skilled solar power project managers in the business. Further, our
project managers must obtain a Project Management Professional (PMP) accreditation, which
serves as the gold standard in the field of Project Management.
Our Community Developers are our direct connection to our local community. By sponsoring
events and networking in the areas we serve and otherwise helping educate our community
about the benefits of going solar, community developers are on the front lines of the solar

Sullivan Solar Power electricians are an essential part in installing and maintaining the
solar energy systems we install. Electricians are responsible for making sure your solar
panels system is installed properly to provide all the energy your property needs for
decades to come.
All our electricians must be state-certified, with more than 5,000 hours of
on-the-job training and multiple courses completed in job site safety. They also must earn
the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners’ (NABCEP) certification through
the NABCEP Associate Program and the NABCEP Solar PV Installer certification. These
certifications help ensure that our electricians have field experience acting as the person
responsible for installing PV systems, a minimum of 58 hours of advanced PV training and an
OSHA 10-hour construction industry card or equivalent.
