The Carlsbad Solar Program opened in spring of 2011 for the North San Diego coastal community. After the campaign completed on August 1, 2011, it was considered the biggest municipal movement in Sullivan Solar Power's history. Forty one Carlsbad residents applied to affirm energy independence through the citywide solar incentive program. More than 210,000 watts were designated to being installed throughout the 41 systems, attaining the goal of assuring five percent cash-back to each program applicant. Sullivan Solar Power rewarded the community more than $65,000 for their dedication to generate this clean solar power.
