This solar power installation in Chula Vista was designed by the San Diego branch of Sullivan Solar Power in 2016. The building owner is a previous Sullivan customer who wanted to power this residential apartment complex with energy from the sun. The 8 KW system was built with 34 panels which were roof mounted atop the building's asphalt tiles.
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
Generate 11,945 to 15,926 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
Avoid the creation of 19,748 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
Provide the system owner with $3,504 in Solar Power Savings.
