Carlsbad Solar Power: Fire Protection Products
Fire Protection Products, a Carlsbad-based supplier of fire sprinkler products and accessories, went solar with Sullivan Solar Power in 2015. The 43.8 kilowatt-AC system we designed, built and installed on the roof of the company's building is comprised of 200 Kyocera solar panels and three SMA inverters to turn the sun's rays into usable electricity.
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
- Generate 65,768 to 87,690 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
- Avoid the creation of 108,736 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
- Provide the system owner with $19,292 in Solar Power Savings.
