Rancho Santa Margarita Solar Program

Sullivan Solar Power shines brightly in Rancho Santa Margarita. Due to the Rancho Santa Margarita Solar Program, a municipal incentive program, accessible solely through Sullivan Solar Power, 24 community participants signed up to assert energy independence. Communally, residents will obtain over $42,000 in cash back incentives from Sullivan Solar Power. The company introduced the program with a vision to changeover the area into a powerful solar community. The program will instate 143,415 Watts of clean renewable solar energy in Rancho Santa Margarita, the greatest collective solar distribution in the city's history.

"With an abundance of sunshine year round, Rancho Santa Margarita is an ideal location to capture clean energy that falls from the sky each day and turn it into financial savings," said Daniel Sullivan, founder and president of Sullivan Solar Power, "This initiative is part of our company's commitment to assisting the community in declaring energy independence." The Rancho Santa Margarita Solar Program began in August 2013 and was setup in a manner to provide early adopters the most significant financial benefits. Sullivan Solar Power, a local renewable energy company, administered the program for residents tin Rancho Santa Margarita, Coto de Caza and Dove Canyon. "My average electricity bill was $600. By going solar we will save $500 a month," said Patty Levin, Sullivan Solar Power client and program participant, "Many of my neighbors are now motivated to go solar. The more homes that go solar, the better for our planet." The Rancho Santa Margarita Solar Program success can be contributed to the fact that many participants were able to see an instant cash savings by going solar. In addition, Sullivan Solar Power was offering cash on top of monthly savings and the Federal Tax credit which is offered through 2016.

Testimonials from Rancho Santa Margarita Solar Program Participants

"I decided to go solar because of the closure of San Onofre & imminent SDGE rate increases. Our bill averaged $600 a month. We will save $500 a month or $6,000 a year. Our pre-paid system of $27,000 will pay for itself in four and a half years. Our investment will return $6,000 per year or 80,000 of savings over a thirteen year period, without the rate increase!" - Patty Levin Program Particpant
