This Coronado solar power project Sullivan Solar Power undertook at the Cahill residence was a large installation. The 4,467 WAC system is powered by 24 Sanyo HIP-210 solar modules and an SMA SunnyBoy 5000US inverter. The solar panels and other solar power equipment were mounted on the asphalt shingle roof of the structure, providing the best-possible exposure to direct sunlight for the generation of solar power. _The Cahill family appreciates reduced electricity costs and the experience of assisting to eliminate damaging emissions in their lovely island community.
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
Generate 6,700,500 to 8,934,000 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
Avoid the creation of 11,078,160 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
Provide the system owner with $1,965,480 in Solar Power Savings.
