Encinitas Solar Power
Set along the majestic Pacific Ocean about 25 miles north of downtown San Diego sits the charming coastal city of Encinitas, which is comprised of five distinct neighborhoods -- Cardiff by the Sea, Leucadia, Olivenhain, Old Encinitas and New Encinitas. Environmental causes are popular among Encinitas residents, who tend to embrace recycling, clean-water issues and other green initiatives, including solar power. That makes Encinitas and solar power just about a perfect match.
Sullivan Solar Power is an established Encinitas solar power company and was selected to design, build and install solar power systems on six of the nine campuses in the Encinitas Union School District. The schools solar power project was completed in 2016 and allowed Encinitas’ public school students to see the value of solar power while helping district officials save hundreds of thousands of dollars in energy costs over the next 25 years.
