La Jolla Solar Power: Secondine Residence
Generating energy from La Jolla's sunshine is a solar system installed by a Sullivan Solar Power crew at the Secondine home. The panels on the roof showcase what it takes to produce home grown energy. However, the inverter as a part of the system is what allows for 6,700 watts of power to permit an alternative that helps save money on monthly utility bills.
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
- Generate 10,050 to 13,400 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
- Avoid the creation of 16,616 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
- Provide the system owner with $2,948 in Solar Power Savings.
