At the St. Laurent household, a solar energy system is generating 4,000 watts of renewable solar power and helping reduce the home's utility costs and emissions. Mr. St. Laurent, pleased with the installation completed by a Sullivan Solar Power crew, is on the path to eliminating his electricity bill. "It was a team effort that I enjoyed. I received a well thought out proposal and installation from a professional group of people," he said.
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
- Generate 6,485 to 8,646 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
- Avoid the creation of 10,721 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
- Provide the system owner with $1,902 in Solar Power Savings.
