La Mesa Solar Power: Hand Residence
Complementing the rooftop at the Hand residence is an array of solar panels titled to capture maximum sunlight to produce energy. Following the installation done by Sullivan Solar Power crew members, the household began generating more than 7,000 watts of power with a system designed specifically for the home. This advantage allows for alleviaition of grid dependency and a reduction of utility bills.
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
Generate 10,964 to 14,618 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
Avoid the creation of 18,126 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
Provide the system owner with $3,216 in Solar Power Savings.
