Good Shepherd: San Diego Commercial Solar Power
Good Shepherd Catholic Church in the Mira Mesa neighborhood of San Diego is slated to start construction of a solar power system in early 2017. The church will finance purchase of the system through a Power Purchase Agreement with no money down.
The church campus, including meeting halls and school, will have three roof-mounted solar arrays totaling 128,521 watts-AC. The system will result in a net savings of $1,350,864 over the term of the financing agreement.
Sullivan Solar Power has designed a custom solution to meet the church communityęs specific needs and help provide years of savings while helping to keep San Diegoęs sunny skies clear and blue by reducing reliance on fossil fuel energy from the local utility.
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
Generate 192,545 to 256,726 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
Avoid the creation of 318,340 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
Provide the system owner with $56,480 in Solar Power Savings.
