Do you drive an all-electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle and live in SDG&E utility territory? If the answer is yes, you may be eligible for a financial credit on your energy bill. For the third consecutive year, electric vehicle drivers in the San Diego region are being rewarded for driving clean and contributing to better air quality and the fight against climate change.

This credit is part of a statewide program administered by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions in California. Whether you drive an all-electric vehicle or a plug-in hybrid, you can apply for the credit. However, you must act quickly. Enrollment for the 2019 Electric Vehicle Climate Credit is only open through May 31, 2019 and this is the final year the credit will be offered. To learn more and to apply, click here.
