Kyocera is a global company and a leading maker of solar panels and other electronic components. In 2015, the company hired Sullivan Solar Power to install a solar power system to help power the company's San Diego headquarters building on Balboa Avenue. The 5 kilowatt-AC system we designed, built and installed at the Kyocera San Diego headquarters consists of 20 Kyocera solar panels and a single SMA inverter. The solar power components were roof mounted, out of sight to everyone but airplanes flying overhead, but helping keep the Kyocera building and San Diego greener.
