La Costa Heights Elementary School Solar Power

Sullivan Solar Power was selected by the Encinitas Union School District to design, build and install a 237-kilowatt AC solar energy system at La Costa Heights Elementary School. The system, installed on car ports in the campus parking lot, consists of 606 Sunpower panels and SMA inverters. The solar energy system will save La Costa Heights Elementary School more than $100,000 in the first year of operation and $4.1 million over the next 25 years.
