St. Peter's Catholic Church: Fallbrook Commercial Solar Power
The first Mass at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Fallbrook on March 30, 1942 and the church has been a cornerstone of the local community since. Sullivan Solar Power worked closely with the churchęs finance council to find a suitable solution that would reduce their monthly electric bills while providing a zero out of pocket solution.
Even with additional challenges posed by the unique utility billing setup for the connected school and parish, Sullivan Solar Power was able to design a 145,915 watts-AC roof-mounted system that will save the church more than $990,000 over the term of the Power Purchase Agreement the church used to purchase the system.
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
Generate 218,729 to 291,638 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
Avoid the creation of 361,631 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
Provide the system owner with $64,160 in Solar Power Savings.
