Sullivan Solar Power designed, built and installed a solar power system for St. Michaelęs Church in Poway in the spring of 2015. The 324 kilowatt system consists of 1,001 Sunpower 327 W modules and provides the parish with nearly 85 percent of its electrical energy needs. The parish paid cash for the system, which will provide for a first-year savings of more than $161,000 and more than $5.7 million in savings over the next 25 years. The churchęs pastor, Rev. John Dolan, commended Sullivan Solar Poweręs professionalism, effectiveness and dedication to the project. –The relationship and mutual commitment to energy sustainability that Sullivan Solar Power established with us more than a year ago continues to this day and has enabled our community to reap the benefits of a highly reliable and efficient system,” the pastor said.
