Costa Mesa Solar Power: Simpkins Residence
Designed for the asphalt roof on the Simpkins home is an array of solar panels that capture the southern California sun to produce energy. The inverters to the system generates more than 4,000 watts of power for the household, and with the help of the Monitoring Team at Sullivan Solar Power, the residence can be assured that the production continues. This provides an opportunity for the home to alleviate grid energy dependence.
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
Generate 6,593 to 8,790 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
Avoid the creation of 10,900 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
Provide the system owner with $1,934 in Solar Power Savings.
