Escondido Solar Power: Gilpin Residence
The Gilpin Residence is reducing their carbon footprint by tapping into the renewable energy provided by the sun. This Encinitas solar power installation is comprised of 16 roof-mounted solar panels feeding the electricity they produce into a common inverter located at ground level for easy access. The ability to generate over 4,600 watts of power will eliminate or significantly reduce monthly utility bills! Sullivan Solar Power setup a continuous monitoring system to help ensure the system performs as expected into the upcoming years.
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
Generate 6,908 to 9,210 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
Avoid the creation of 11,420 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
Provide the system owner with $2,026 in Solar Power Savings.
