Highland Library and Environmental Learning Center
A LEED Gold building, designed by STK Architecture. In a competive design-build bid, Sullivan Solar Power was chosen to design, engineer, procure and install this system. The arrays follow the contour of the radius roofs to add an aesthetically pleasing architectural accent to the building. This system is expected to eliminate 50% of the building's operating costs.
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
Generate 70,200 to 93,600 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
Avoid the creation of 116,064 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
Provide the system owner with $20,592 in Solar Power Savings.
