Highland Police Department
This is one of two sites installed by Sullivan Solar Power for the City of Highland. Installed as part of the newly constructed police department buildings, this hybrid ballasted roof-mounted system maximizes available roof space on two separate buildings. In addition, the PV component of the new construction contributed to the building's LEED Silver certification. Consisting of (210) Siliken solar modules, which were manufactured in San Diego, and a PV Powered inverter, this system is expected to produce 78,395 kWhrs per year.
On average, each year a solar energy system this size will:
Generate 62,000 to 82,666 kilowatt hours of clean renewable solar power.
Avoid the creation of 102,506 pounds of harmful carbon dioxide released into our air.
Provide the system owner with $18,187 in Solar Power Savings.
