University of California San Diego
The University of California San Diego chose Sullivan Solar Power for two phases of solar installations over a period of four years. The first phase comprised of design engineering, procurement and construction services for five separate solar panel installations on off- campus university properties. UCSD then selected Sullivan Solar Power to design, engineer, procure and construct solar power systems at seven on-campus locations in La Jolla.
In all, we have installed more than 1,500 kilowatts of power across 12 UCSD locations, such as the university's medical center in Hillcrest and the central power plant on campus. All jobs were delivered on time and on budget.
As part of the design, UCSD incorporated electric vehicle charging stations at each site. Clean Renewable Energy Bonds (CREB’s) were used to fund the projects and Sullivan Solar Power will be maintaining and monitoring each site under an ongoing service agreement.
